William J. Fetch, 75, of Dupont, Pennsylvania, passed away on Sunday, April 19, 2026, in Hospice of the Sacred Heart, Dunmore.
He was born in Kingston, PA, to the late John and Elsa (Corsini) Fetch.
Bill graduated from Wyoming Area High School in 1968 and went on to earn a Bachelors Degree at Mansfield University and eventually earned a Masters Equivalency Degree. He began his career as a Teacher and dedicated 36 years to Wyoming Area, until his retirement.
Bill loved traveling all over the country hunting elk, bear, black bear, deer, mule deer in many places including Alaska, Texas, Colorado and Montana. He also loved to fish for salmon and trout in Lake Ontario. Bill was the president and treasurer of the Wyoming Rod and Gun Club.
William is survived by his beloved wife, Margaret (Meg) (Rees) Fetch, his precious dog Lily whom he loved dearly, stepchildren, Megan Marchetti (Jack) of Dupont; and Rebecca Posluszny of Pittston; grandchildren, Lauren, Makaila, Lana, and Owen; and his sister, Katie Cooney of Pittsburgh
Relatives and friends are invited to call on Friday, April 24, from 10 AM until the time of mass at St. Anthonys of Padua Church of Corpus Christi Parish.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, April 24, 2026, 11AM at St Anthonys of Padua Church of the Corpus Christi Parish, 224 Memorial St., Exeter.
Interment will follow mass at Denison Cemetery, PA.
Arrangements are entrusted to Metcalfe Shaver Kopcza Funeral Home, Inc., 504 Wyoming Ave., Wyoming.
William's family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to the staff at Hospice of the Sacred Heart along with the doctors and staff at Wesley Village Rehab Center for the compassionate care he received throughout this difficult time.
