Theresa M. Yatsko

Theresa M. Yatsko 89, of W. Wyoming, passed away on Tuesday, May 27, 2025, in River Street Manor, Wilkes-Barre.

She was the daughter of the late Joseph and Agnes Olenick. She graduated from Larksville High School in 1954 and went on to start her career as a Nurse's Aide at Highland Manor Nursing and Rehabilitation Center and worked for 35 years, until her retirement.

Theresa was a member of St. Monicas Parish where she taught CCD and belonged to the Christian Mothers Society.

Theresa is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Frank, sisters, Elizabeth Lolli, Helen Barkasy, Agnes Truskoski, and grandson, Matthew Dunsmuir.

Theresa is survived by daughters, Theresa Dunsmuir of W. Wyoming, Deborah Ann Konopka (Paul) of Wyoming, sisters, Josephine (Raymond) Benkoski of Hanover Twp., Sylvia O'Donnell (Bernard) of Makungie, grandchildren, Rebecca Thomas, Salvatore Furner, Jr., Brittney Wharton, and Valerie Britt, and 6 great grandchildren.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, May 31st, 10AM at St Monicas Parish, 363 W. 8th St., Wyoming, PA.

Relatives and friends are invited to call on Saturday, May 31, 2025, from 9 AM to 10AM at St. Monicas Church.

Arrangements are entrusted to Metcalfe Shaver Kopcza Funeral Home, Inc., 504 Wyoming Ave., Wyoming.

Interment follows mass at Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Carverton, PA.
