Ryan P. Richards

Ryan P. Richards, 34, of Wilkes-Barre Twp., passed away Thursday January 11, 2024, at Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center, Plains Twp.

Born in West Wyoming, he was the son of Margaret Rose (Licata) Richards and the late Edward (Ned) Richards. He was a graduate of Wyoming Area class of 2007 and went on to receive his bachelor’s degree from Penn State University in Criminal Justice. For the past 6 years he has been employed at CDL Maguire as a construction inspector.

Surviving besides his mother is his wife, Carissa Richards (Nappa); sister: Dana Farkas and her husband Johnnie, Gilbert, Pa; Nieces and Nephews; Hunter, Jack, Sawyer Farkas and Kaylani Owens; Aunts and Uncles; his beloved dog Bruno and guinea pig Arthur.

A blessing service will be held Monday January 15, 2024, at 7pm at the Metcalfe Shaver Kopcza Funeral Home Inc 504 Wyoming Avenue Wyoming with Father Peter Tomczak, celebrant.

Friends may call Monday January 15, 2024, 4-7pm at the funeral home.

Interment will be at the convenience of the family.
