Rosalie M. Spess

Rosalie M. Spess 59, of Exeter, Pennsylvania, passed away on Wednesday, January 21, 2026, in her home.

Rosalie was born in Kingston, daughter of Richard Roote and the late Geraldine Barber Roote.

She graduated from Lake-Lehman high school in 1984.

In addition to her mother Rosalie is preceded in death by her sister, Rebecca Kowalski.

She is survived by her beloved husband, Michael Spess, father, Richard Roote of Tunkhannock; children, Jonathan Spess, Steven Spess, Andrew Spess and Brittany Spess all of Pittston; siblings, Richard Roote of Plains; Robert Roote of Kingston; Randy Roote of Lansford; Ronald Roote of Plymouth; and Roberta Watkins of Edwardsville.

The Funeral Service for Rosalie will be held on Saturday, January 31, 2026 at 11:00 AM at Wyoming United Methodist Church, 376 Wyoming Ave., Wyoming.

Family and friends are invited to call on Saturday from 10 AM until the time of the service at the church.
