Robert Hughes

Robert Hughes 72, of Kingston, Pennsylvania, passed away at Geisinger Medical Center on Thursday March 19, 2026.

Robert was an Army Veteran, where he learned mechanics. He moved to California where he remained for 28 years. He eventually moved back to the area and settled in Hughestown, PA.

Robert was preceded in death by his parents, Robert Hughes and Audrey Poepperling.

He is survived by his sisters, Linda Rudick, Debbie Gilligan, and Renee Popperling, three daughters and a son, AAron Hughes.

The arrangements for Robert are entrusted to Metcalfe Shaver Kopcza Funeral Home, Inc., 504 Wyoming Ave., Wyoming and will be held at the convenience of the family.
