Rebecca Bannan Aben

Rebecca Bannan Aben, lovingly known as “Becky,” age 78, of Dallas, PA and Bluffton, SC, passed away peacefully on August 2, 2025.

Born on January 9, 1947, Becky was the beloved daughter of Samuel J. Bannan and Kathryn Yaple Bannan. She graduated from Kingston High School and continued her education at Wilkes College (now Wilkes University).

Becky was a devoted wife, a loving mother, and a cherished friend to many. Professionally, she was co-owner of Unigraphic Color Corporation. She was also active in her community, contributing her time and energy to the Junior League and serving as a past executive board member of the Wyoming Valley Children’s Association—an organization close to her heart.

She is survived by her sister, Deborah Richards (Robert Richards); her children, Jason Aben (Carolyn) and Alia DeLong (Erik); and her grandchildren, Samantha, Zachary, Brian, and Katie. She was preceded in death by her parents, Sam and Kathryn Bannan, and her beloved husband, Robert “Bobby” Aben.

A private service will be held at the discretion of the family. Arrangements are by the Metcalfe Shaver Kopcza Funeral Home Inc 504 Wyoming Avenue Wyoming. 

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Becky’s memory to the Wyoming Valley Children’s Association. Or, as Becky often said: "Celebrate life with your family in a manner of your choice."
