It is with great sadness that the family of Marie Rose Ambrose, 83, of Indian Lake, White Haven, announces her passing away on Saturday, March 2, 2024.
    Born in Wilkes Barre, she was the daughter of the late Pauline and Alexander Sapiego. She was a graduate from Wyoming High School, class of 1958. For many years she supported her husband in owning and operating Taylor Dress Factory for over 25 years. She was a member of St. Anthony of Padua Church of St. Barbara’s Parish, Exeter.
    She was a loving and devoted Mother and Grandmother. She cherished her family and was always there to support them. She saved the best of everything for everyone else. She liked giving little gifts and never visited someone empty. Holidays were her favorite time of year where she enjoyed cooking and baking. Marie was preceded in death by her husband Ronald Ambrose; sister Helen Zucosky and brother Martin Sapiego. She is survived by her sons, Mark Ambrose and his wife, Lisa; Christopher Ambrose; grandchildren, Emma and Mark Ambrose; brothers Eugene Sapiego and John Sapiego; several nieces and nephews.
    A Mass of Chrisitan Burial will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday 3/8 in St. Anthony of Padua Church of St Barbara’s Parish, 28 Memorial Ave., Exeter. Friends and family may call 9:30 a.m. until the time of service. 
Funeral Services are entrusted to Metcalfe Shaver Kopcza Funeral Home, Inc., 504 Wyoming Ave., Wyoming.
