Lawrence C. Licata, Jr., 62, of West Pittston passed away on Sunday, May 22 at River Run Rehabilitation and Nursing Center, Kingston.
He was born in Wilkes-Barre, son of the late Lawrence Licata and Delores (Barber) Licata. Lawrence was a graduate of Wyoming Area High School Class of 1978 and attended Luzerne County Community College. He was employed by NADCO and Suburban Publishing before becoming disabled.
Surviving are two sisters: Margaret Rose Richards of West Pittston and Suzanne Hinkin and husband Robert of Hanover Twp., niece: Dana Farkas and nephew Ryan Richards.
A blessing service will be held on Wednesday, May 25, at 11:00 AM at the Metcalfe Shaver Kopcza Funeral Home, Inc., 504 Wyoming Ave., Wyoming, Father Peter Tomczak, celebrant.
Interment will be in Mount Olivet Cemetery, Carverton.
Friends may call Wednesday from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the funeral home.
