Kenneth Ippolito, 75 of Hoboken and Surf City, New Jersey passed away peacefully on July 7th, 2021 in the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania.
Ken was the son of the late Julian and Jennie Ippolito and grew up in Clifton, NJ. He was a graduate of Pope Pius High School in Passaic NJ and was a 1968 graduate of The University of Notre Dame. He received his Juris Doctor degree from Rutgers University and was a veteran of the US Army. Ken worked for Revlon for 25 years and retired as the Domestic Legal Counsel .
Surviving is his wife of 51 years, Karlyn Ippolito; his children, Jennifer Ippolito of Shavertown PA and Brian Ippolito; brother Dennis Ippolito of Dallas, TX; sister Marilyn Geller of Vestal, NY; beloved grandson Bobby Booth as well as devoted nieces, cousins, friends, and golf buddies.
Kenneth was an avid golfer and a long time member of the Rockaway River Country Club. He loved all things Notre Dame and religiously returned at least twice a year to root for them at football games. When he wasn’t golfing or watching Notre Dame play , you could find him sitting on the beach reading or completing the Sunday New York Times Crossword Puzzle. He was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, uncle, brother, and friend.
A celebration of Kenneth’s life will be held at Rockaway River Country Club.
