JAMES J. NOONE, SR., 83, of Franklin Twp. passed away Monday at his home.

Born in Jenkins Twp. he was the son of the late John and Helena (Polisky) Noone. He was educated in the Pittston Schools. He was a veteran of the US Navy serving on the USS Wisconsin. He was a union carpenter for over 35years working on various projects in the area.

Jim enjoyed gardening and fishing on the Susquehanna.

Preceding him in death were his wives Elna Joy (Dixon) Noone 1990 and Dorothy E. Dietrick Noone 2017, sister Patricia Walutes.

Surviving are sons; Sam Noone and his wife Debbie, Wyalusing; James J. Noone Jr. and his wife Dawn, Pittston; grandchildren; Olivia, Cody, Brianna; sister; Phyllis Schollenberger and her husband Wayne of South Carolina; nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family from the Metcalfe Shaver Kopcza Funeral Home Inc 504 Wyoming Avenue Wyoming
