George Zacharias, Jr.

George Zacharias, Jr., 43, of Monroe Twp., Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully on Friday, March 13, 2026, in his home, surrounded by his loving family.

George was born in Wilkes Barre, PA, to George and Christine (Arnold) Zacharias.

George attended Tunkhannock High School then started his career working for fisher tank as a boilermaker and also worked at his family's logging business.

George is preceded in death by by his grandparents, Harry and Marian Zacharias, and Margaret MacMillian.

In addition to his parents, George is survived by his children, George III, Brier, Jase, Jaxen, and bonus daughter Payton, Siblings, Michael Zacharias of Monroe Twp., Robin (Seth) Johnson of Monroe Twp, Sheila (Rob) Williams of Wilkes-Barre, several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life for George will be held at a later date.

Arrangements are entrusted to Nulton Kopcza Funeral Home, 5749 SR 309, Monroe Twp.
