Faye D. Perry 92, of Franklin Township, Pennsylvania, passed away on Saturday, April 11, 2026, Wesley Village Rehabilitation and Nursing Home, Pittston, PA.
Faye was born in Lockville, PA, to the late Draper and Mary Goble Evans. She graduated from West Pittston High School in 1951. After spending many years being a stay at home mom she went on to begin a career at the Times Leader Newspaper in the credit-purchasing and accounts receivable departments, where she worked for 16 years until retirement. She spent a couple of years sharing babysitting duties with Glenda for Michael and Sean. Faye was a member of Modern Lanes Bowling League and also, spent many hours playing cards at the Pittston Senior Center with her brother Tommy. She loved playing cards with her gal pals Sharon, Phyliss, Maryann and Corrine and spent many enjoyable hours at each others houses. She was an active member and organist at Carverton United Methodist Church before joining Cross Creek Community Church. There she found new friends and reunited with many old ones.
Faye loved to travel and crossed the country with many of her friends. Her last trip was on her 80th birthday to San Francisco and Yosemite with her daughter and nephew Bob.
In addition to her parents, Faye is preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Perry, infant son, Allen Paul, brothers, Donald, Robert and Thomas Evans, and grandson, Raymond Perry.
Faye is survived by her children, Donna (Brent) Long of Franklin Twp.; William (Judy) Perry of Exeter Twp.; Joseph (Marcy) of Muhlenburg; Randy (Susan) Perry of Dallas; 7 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren plus many nieces and nephews.
She greatly missed her buddy George "Red" with his passing, Going out to eat, especially for fish at Trails End, shopping, playing cards or just hanging out together they always had a special bond.
The family would like to thank all the Staff at Wesley Village and Traditional Hospice for the care and love that was given to their Mom during her stay.
The service will be held on Friday, April 17, 2026, 11:00 AM, at Metcalfe Shaver Kopcza Funeral Home, Inc., 504 Wyoming Ave., Wyoming.
Family and friends are invited to call on: Thursday, April 16, from 5-7 PM and Friday April 17, from 10 AM until the time of service at Metcalfe Shaver Kopcza Funeral Home.
