ELIZABETH “BETTY” THOMAS

ELIZABETH “BETTY” THOMAS, 91, formerly of West Wyoming passed away Tuesday
evening in Wesley Village, Jenkins Twp.

Born in West Wyoming she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Isabelle Laverick Lewis. She was a
graduate of the West Wyoming High School class of 1946 and the Wyoming Seminary Business School.
Prior to her retirement she was employed at the Bon-Ton formerly in Midway Shopping Center
Wyoming as a manager for 25 years, and was very active with Wyoming Valley Council of Churches.

Preceding her in death was her husband of 48 years, Hayden Thomas, Jr.

Surviving are her sons; Gary Thomas (Cindy), Bangor, PA; Mark Thomas (Debra), Drums; grandson
Matthew Thomas.

A graveside service will be held at the convenience of the family in the Wyoming Cemetery with the
Rev. Carol Folk officiating.

There will be no calling hours.

Arrangements are by the Metcalfe Shaver Kopcza Funeral Home Inc., 504 Wyoming Avenue,
Wyoming.
