Edward Thomas "Tom" Kolessar of Wyoming passed away peacefully at his home on Friday, January 9, 2026 after a long illness.
Born in Exeter, he was the son of the late John and Mary (Ormandy) Kolessar. He was a graduate of Exeter High School. Tom proudly served in the United States Air Force and frequently spoke of his time in England. Prior to his retirement he was employed at Procter and Gamble of Mehoopany for over 30 years. During his lifetime, he enjoyed outdoor activities like fishing and gardening, but his favorite pastime was feeding the birds and other critters in his yard.
Preceding him in death was his wife of 39 years Rosemary (Shukstis) Kolessar and numerous brothers and sisters.
Surviving are his children Thomas and his wife Cheryl of Downingtown; Michael and his wife Cathy of Exeter; Mary Kolessar of Highland Manor; grandchildren Michael, Nicole, Abigail Rose, Josephine and Alexandra; and several nieces and nephews.
A mass of Christian burial will be held Friday, January 16, 2026 at 10am at St. Monica Parish, 363 West 8th Street, West Wyoming followed by interment at the Mount Olivet Cemetery, Carverton.
Friends may call Friday morning 9-10am in the church.
