Delores H. Taddei

Delores H. Taddei, 92, of Wyoming, Pennsylvania passed away on Thursday, February 12, 2026, in Allied Services Hospice Center, Wilkes-Barre.

Delores was born in Pittston, PA, to the late Margaret Troy. She attended school in Exeter, PA. Delores helped to support her family working at Rex Shoes.

Delores was a dedicated wife and mother who was always happiest when doting on her six children and grandchildren. She loved cooking and tending to her many house plants. She was an avid baseball fan who would watch any game being televised but was a devoted Phillies fan.

In addition to her parents, Delores is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Rudolph Taddei, a son, Ronald Taddei, brothers, Willard and Kenneth Troy, sisters, Alice Rice, Leatha Scoble and June Fela.

Delores is survived by her children, Karen (William) Callahan of Dallas, Ann Marie (David) Erdmann of Wellsboro, PA, Rudolph Jr.(Cleone) Taddei of Dushore, PA, Ricky (Terry) Taddei of Dallas, PA, Randolph (Kimberly) Taddei of Wyoming, PA, siblings, Charles (Vivian) Troy, William Troy, 9 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, February 20, 2026, at 11:30 AM at St. Anthony of Padua Church of Corpus Christi Parish, 224 Memorial Street, Exeter. Interment will be in Mount Olivet Cemetery, Carverton.

Relatives and friends may call on Friday, February 20, 2026, from 10-11 AM at Metcalf-Shaver-Kopcza Funeral Home, Inc., 504 Wyoming Ave., Wyoming.

The family wishes to express our heartfelt thanks to the staff of Wilkes-Barre General Hospital and Allied Services Hospice Center for the wonderful care provided to Delores in her final days.
