David M. Kintner, 77, of Meshoppen, Pennsylvania, passed away on Monday, June 2, 2025, in Geisinger Medical Center, Danville surrounded by his family. David was born in Meshoppen, to the late Milford and Mary Jane (Burke) Kintner. After graduating from Tunkhannock High School in 1967, he enlisted in the United States Army and proudly served in the Vietnam War as a combat engineer. He was employed as a project coordinator for Maaco Auto Painting and went on to work for over 30 years until his retirement. David also enjoyed fishing the rivers and streams of Pennsylvania, taking road trips across the United States, spending time with his beloved dogs, and was a proud supporter of Budweiser.
David is survived by his wife, Debbie (Dobrosielski) Kintner; his son, David Kintner and wife Meredith of Hawthorne, CA; his daughter, Heather Chambers and husband Tim of Longmont, CO; and his brothers, Tim and Rick Kintner, both of Tunkhannock. He is also remembered by his grandchildren-Emily, Adison, Clara, and Sydney as well as many nieces and nephews. He is remembered fondly by his former wife, Genevieve Kintner, with whom he shared many years and raised their children.
The service for David will be held at the convenience of the family through Nulton Kopcza Funeral Home, 5749 SR 309, Monroe Twp., PA.
