Annette Sabol Soltysiak, 83, of Wyoming, Pennsylvania, passed away on Saturday, September 20, 2025, in Highland Manor Rehabilitation & Nursing Center Exeter, Pennsylvania.
Annette was born in Swoyersville, to the late Joseph and Margaret Dolny Sabol. She graduated from Swoyersville High School and Bradford Beauty Academy. Annette was a homemaker and volunteered with Wyoming Little League and the Wyoming Lions Club. She was also active with Candy' Place in her later years.
Annette adored her family and spent most of her time in the stands watching her children and grandchildren play sports. When she was not cheering for her children and grandchildren, she could be found cheering on her beloved Eagles and Phillies, as she was a die hard fan of both teams.
Annette will be remembered for her hearty laugh and story telling capabilities. She enjoyed spending time with both family and friends. In addition to her immediate and extended family Annette had a large group of close friends dating all the way back to her early childhood. She never missed an opportunity to spend time with any of them.
In addition to her parents, Annette was preceded in death by her beloved husband Robert Soltysiak in 2007, brothers, Joseph, Edward and Robert Sabol, sister, Elaine Sabol and sister-in-law Mary Sabol.
Annette is survived by her children, Dr. Michael Soltysiak, O.D. and his wife, Deborah of Monroe Twp.; Brian Soltysiak and his wife, Justyna Chorba of Scranton; grandchildren, Sean and Brett Soltysiak; sister-in-law Rose Sabol; and many nieces, nephews, grand nieces and grand nephews.
The Funeral Service for Annette will be held on Tuesday, September 30, 9:30 AM from Metcalfe Shaver Kopcza Funeral Home, Inc. 504 Wyoming Ave., Wyoming, with a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Monica's Church, 363 W. Eighth St., Wyoming at 10Am.
Family and friends are invited to call on Monday, September 29 from 5:00-8:00 PM at Metcalfe Shaver Kopcza Funeral Home, Inc. 504 Wyoming Ave., Wyoming.
Interment will follow funeral mass on Tuesday at Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Carverton.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that memorial donations be made to Candy's Place or Blue Chip Farm Animal Refuge.
