Alexandria M. Gurdak

Alexandria M. Gurdak 69, of Shavertown, Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully on Thursday, August 20, 2026, in Chestnut Hill Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center, Wilkes-Barre.

Alexandria was born in Wilkes-Barre, PA, to the late John and Lottie Zipko Gurdak.

After graduating High School, she began her career within the dietary field for many years until her retirement.

Alexandria "Sandy" was best known for her kindness and generosity. Her life was always about giving to others.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her lifelong partner: Carmel "Cosmo" Artmont and brother: John Gurdak.

Alexandria is survived by her children, Jennifer Artmont of Trucksville, Jeremy and wife, Kimberly Artmont of LA, sisters, Dolores and husband, Bill Keopke, Anne Gurdak, 3 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild numerous nieces and nephews.

The service for Alexandria will be at the convenience of the family.
